Mississippi Valley Textile Museum, 3 Rosamond Street East, Almonte, Ontario
Heather
is delighted to have been invited to participate in the show “Stitched:
A Homecoming” at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum, January 19 to
March 23, 2019. Some twenty of her Cityscapes will be on display, along
with the work of British textile artist Anne Kelly.
A reception is planned for Saturday, January 19, from 2 - 4 pm, and both Heather and Anne, originally from Ontario, expect to be on hand.
The museum, a national historic site, is located just west of Ottawa, in the charming town of Almonte. Its second floor features a permanent exhibition celebrating the history of the textile industry in Eastern Ontario. Winter hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 am - 4 pm, Saturday noon - 4 pm, closed Sunday and Monday.
